Olatoun Ogunnaike

Managing Director

Olatoun Ogunnaike, our accomplished Managing Director, brings over 24 years of banking expertise, holding a B.Sc in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management and an MBA with a Marketing specialization. As an Associate Graduate of CIPM and Chartered Microfinance Practitioner, she is a valued member of the Federal Reporting Council.

Beginning her banking journey in 1999 at Commet Merchant Bank, Olatoun ascended through roles, from Human Resources to Customer Service and Cash Officer, culminating in her role as Head of Operations at the defunct FinBank in 2005. Her impactful tenure included positions as Credit and Marketing staff and Branch Manager from 2009 to 2012. After joining FCMB post-merger, she continued to excel until 2013.

In 2013, she became Branch Manager at NEW Union Bank, showcasing her leadership prowess. Entrepreneurial ventures followed between 2016 and 2019, including Recovery, Loan Disbursement, and Education. Appointed Managing Director of RIC MFB in 2020, Olatoun has continued to lead with distinction at Kayvee Microfinance Bank since 2023.

Roghokoghene Ovuakporie

Head, Finance and Admin

Roghokoghene Ovuakporie, an astute Financial Administrator, distinguishes herself as a Fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria. Additionally, she holds the esteemed title of an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.

With an illustrious career spanning over two and a half decades, Roghokoghene emerges as a seasoned professional in banking, accounting, and administration. Her expansive expertise traverses critical domains, including Bank Operations, Internal Controls, Human Resources Management, Financial Administration, Risk Management, and Compliance, demonstrating her multifaceted prowess in the financial sector and agribusiness.

Roghokoghene boasts a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a specialized focus on Financial Management, coupled with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Banking and Finance. Currently at the helm as the Head of Finance and Administration at KayVee MFB, she epitomizes a wealth of knowledge, fortified by her commitment to ensuring meticulous financial governance and administrative excellence within the organization.

Dosunmu Lateef

Head, Risk Management

Abdullateef Dosunmu, our Head of Risk and Compliance, is a distinguished chartered accountant with nearly a decade of comprehensive experience in Internal Control, Audit, Risk, and Compliance. His professional journey includes impactful roles as an Auditor in the hospitality industry with Smackers Ltd (The Place), as well as contributing his expertise to leading financial institutions such as Zenith Bank, Fidelity Bank, and Polaris Bank.

Abdullateef’s core skills encompass critical thinking, effective communication—both written and oral, active problem-solving, and robust interpersonal abilities. With a strong foundation in leadership, time management, and team motivation, he ensures a seamless and collaborative approach to managing risks and compliance.

In his current capacity, Abdullateef Dosunmu leverages his wealth of skills to navigate complex regulatory landscapes, contributing significantly to the effective management of risks and the adherence to compliance standards within our organization.

Oluwasegun Fayenuwo

Head, Internal Audit

Oluwasegun Samuel Fayenuwo is a seasoned Chartered Accountant with a robust background spanning over five years in both the financial and non-financial sectors. Armed with an impressive academic achievement, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with First Class Honors from the University of Lagos.

As an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) conferred by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (2018) and an Associate Accounting Technician (AAT) from the Association of Accounting Technicians West Africa (2016), Oluwasegun possesses comprehensive knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and accounting standards.

With a track record of versatility, Oluwasegun has navigated diverse roles, ranging from a Marketing Executive to an Audit Trainee, Lecturer, and Financial Analyst.

His dedication to delivering meticulous audit reports and proactive fraud detection makes him an invaluable asset to our team.

Seun Olu-Jordan

Head, Information Technology

Seun-Olu Jordan serves as our Head of Information Technology, bringing a unique blend of academic excellence and extensive professional experience.

With a profound passion for Information Technology, Seun-Olu has pursued specialized training in CompTIA A+, Security+, Linux Basics, Basics of Networking and Protocols, and ITIL.

Commencing his professional journey in 2005 at Standard Trust Bank, Seun-Olu showcased versatility by assuming diverse roles in both operations and IT. To augment his expertise, he pursued higher education, achieving a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) and an MBA.

Seun-Olu’s commitment to innovation and digital excellence led him to the role of Digital Banking Area Sales Manager at UBA, where he played a pivotal role until 2022. Continuing his impactful trajectory, he assumed the position of Head of IT and E-Channels at Trident Microfinance Bank until 2023.

With a rich background and a strategic leadership approach, Seun-Olu Jordan spearheads our Information Technology division, ensuring cutting-edge solutions and a seamless digital experience for our clients. He is also passionate about music. He has a degree in Music Technology.

Jerry Briggs

Head, Legal & Compliance

Jerry Briggs is an exceptionally dedicated and motivated professional with a distinguished educational background and a wealth of experience in the legal and compliance arenas. Graduating with Honours from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology in 2015 and being called to the Nigerian Bar in 2018, he actively contributes to the legal community’s legal discourse and stays abreast of industry developments.

Not content with resting on his laurels, Jerry embarked on a journey of continuous professional development to enhance his expertise. He secured an associate membership with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators UK (Nigerian Branch). In 2023, Jerry took a strategic step to broaden his skill set by obtaining a Designated Compliance Practitioner certification from the prestigious Compliance Institute of Nigeria. 

Recognizing the growing importance of data protection in the modern business landscape, Jerry demonstrated his proactive approach by acquiring a Data Protection Certification from the NDP Academy.

Jerry’s nature as a forward-thinking professional makes him an asset in navigating the complexities of legal and regulatory landscapes.

Johnson Abugan

Head, Business Development

Leveraging his strong background in mathematics and Statistics and a BSc in Industrial Relations, Abugan Johnson’s illustrious 14-year career in the banking industry has been impactful. Currently serving as the Head of Business Development, Abugan strategically spearheads initiatives at Kayvee Microfinance Bank, concentrating on deposit mobilization, team management, and facilitating seamless loan/credit processes.

His journey began as an E-Channels specialist at Skye Bank from July 2008 to 2014, where he demonstrated proficiency in launching innovative banking solutions like the Skye Campus Cards and managing the Skye Xplorer cash card. Responsible for overseeing card services, deployment, and monitoring POS terminals.

Transitioning to Livingtrust Mortgage Bank from 2016 to 2023 as the Business Manager, Abugan played a pivotal role in building positive customer relationships, managing account opening processes ensuring high ethical standards and regulatory compliance.

Abugan’s ability to expand network connections and introduce products persuasively stands as a testament to his enduring impact throughout his distinguished career.

Olorunfemi Olusanya

Head, Human Resource

Olorunfemi Olusanya, our esteemed Head of Human Resource, is a dedicated and result-oriented specialist with over four years of progressive experience in the oil and gas, aviation, and human resource consulting sectors. Armed with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the prestigious University of Ibadan, a Diploma in Human Resource Management, and the title of Associate Professional in Human Resource (APHRI), Olorunfemi is well-equipped to navigate the complexities of human resource dynamics.

Her expertise spans key areas such as Recruitment and Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Performance Appraisal, Training and Development, HR Policy Development, and Conflict Resolution. As a student member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM) and possessing Agile Human Resource skills, she is dedicated to staying at the forefront of industry advancements.

Olorunfemi’s passion lies in driving organizational success through strategic HR practices and implementing cutting-edge talent management strategies. Her ultimate goal is to contribute to fostering a positive workplace culture, ensuring the holistic well-being and success of our organization.
