Emergency Evacuation Procedures
Overview
KayVee Microfinance Bank is a responsible financial institution, and we are committed to maintaining a safe environment and responding promptly and effectively to emergencies. The guideline outlines the evacuation steps, staff roles and responsibilities, and key safety measures required to ensure an orderly and efficient evacuation. All employees are expected to familiarise themselves with these procedures to help protect lives and minimise risk.
Kayvee MFB – Oshodi Branch:
This notice applies to all customers, staff, vendors, and visitors within the banking premises.
In the event of fire, security threat, structural risk, or any other emergency, follow the steps below immediately:
- Stay Calm
Remain calm and avoid panic. Listen carefully to instructions from bank staff or security personnel.
- Raise the Alarm
Shout “EMERGENCY!” and immediately alert the nearest staff member or security officer.
- Evacuate Immediately
- Stop all banking activities immediately.
- Leave the building through the nearest marked exit.
- Follow all green EXIT signs.
- Do not push or run.
Approved Exit Routes – Oshodi Branch:
- Banking Hall → Main Entrance (Front Exit)
- • Offices → Internal Exit Corridor (Back door)
The Internal exit (Back Door) must remain unlocked and unobstructed during business hours.
- Assist Vulnerable Persons
Assist elderly persons, persons with disabilities, pregnant women, or injured individuals to ensure safe evacuation.
- Proceed to the Assembly Point
After exiting, move immediately to the designated Assembly Point:

- Stay together and await further instructions.
- Do NOT return into the building until an official ALL CLEAR is given by emergency responders or branch management.
